The Villa
Villa Castagnoli
A timeless Tuscan oasis — full of character, warmth and sophistication, with a separate two-bedroom staff annex, a garden guest cottage and a fabulous dining tree-house.
A Timeless Tuscan Oasis
A Storied Thousand Year History, A Majestic Fairy Tale Destination.
The villa and all its annexes are immersed in beautifully kept grounds and enriched with inspiring sculptural works of the highest quality, placed with great effect throughout the garden and landscape. Externally, the house is surrounded by several elegant terraces, used for either formal or informal entertaining from which one can enjoy the magnificent panoramic Tuscan views.
The main house, built of rugged and hewn stone with an original 12th-century watch tower at its heart, is a wonderful fusion of the classic features of the traditional Chianti fortified villa with a strong playful artistic international style. There is an eclectic and vibrant art and furniture collection throughout the house, which makes a smooth balance with the backdrop of the strong stone walls, original cotto and stone floors and all the soft warm wooden beams and staircases.
Before entering from the higher terraces, one is drawn further down to explore the very private and enchanting swimming-pool terrace, adorned with umbrellas, loungers and comfortable seating and dining areas. Pool 9×18 m — with WC and shower room.
